Bio:
Yaz escaped a life of drug addiction, bondage to sin & death to know the Living God whom he now serves in helping people with similar challenges, through the loving guidance of the Holy Spirit in the streets of NYC. He experienced salvation about five years ago after hitting rock bottom. Since then he's had a burning in his heart to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the dark places to share the profound love the Savior had for him. To heal the broken hearted, the proclaim liberty to the captives, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Through a sequence of events, he was advised by his pastor to knock on The Relief Bus' door. After volunteering with the bus for two years, he was called to a full time position as an outreach team leader.
What I Do With The Relief Bus:
I lead outreach teams four days per week bringing hope, love, dignity, & physical necessities to the urban poor, taking the message of the Kingdom of God to all who are willing to hear. I serve a small part of the greater plan of redemption for His Bride. I take part in equipping the church to come together & go into the world to shed the light of Christ!
Why I Work With The Relief Bus:
How awesome is it to be a personal witness & co-partner with the Living God of the Universe to walk alongside the broken & the hurting, displaying the love of Christ in this journey we call life- pointing to the truth. Today is the dy of salvation! Enter, enter through the only way, which is Jesus Christ.
